Tandem Ballet is a new, outdoor performance performed by blind, partially sighted and sighted dancers on and around tandems, which will be created in Spring 2013 – subject to funding.
We are looking for a writer to work with the creative team to develop a narrative around ideas and imagery created during an initial R&D phase earlier this year – further info & a short film here: http://bit.ly/RbJCJ5. The spoken narrative will be recorded to add layers and depth to the show, and provide an engaging description for blind and partially sighted audiences, as part of a wider soundscape.
We will be undertaking some additional R&D in November, and invited interested writers to attend one or more of the movement workshops we will be running then. Dates and venues in London, to be confirmed.
