After studying Modern Languages at the University of Bristol, Jo trained in Contemporary Dance & her main dance practise is now Contact Improvisation. She has performed her own work widely, including A Tin Drum (award winner at Impulstanz Salzburg), Viva la Vida (award winner at Polemiqi Festival, Warsaw) and Threefold (finalist at Masdanza).
She was a participant in Jerwood Bank 2008 (Siobhan Davies Dance Co) & has also performed in work by Caroline Salem, Magdalena Radlowska & Jia-yu Corti.
Jo teaches for London Contact Improvisation, teachers creative dance to children, & is also a language teacher.
