Flick is a performer & director in the devised theatre sector, creating work for indoor & outdoor venues.
She was head of theatre & artistic advisor for the BA Hons at the National Centre for Circus Arts (formerly The Circus Space) 1997-2006. She was also co-artistic director for Company FZ 1998-2012, part of the Arts Council England’s National Portfolio. She has been resident director for Mimbre, Strangelings, The World Famous and And Now.
She currently works as a freelance performer & director, most recently with The New Art Club, Norwich Puppet Theatre for two solo pieces and Ramshackalicious. She is resident producer/director for the Spiegeltent cabaret Christmas show in Bristol.
She is currently developing a new show with Boogaloo Stu, a comedy musical on the subject of gentrification and tours her cult comedy show Bramble FM throughout the summer. In September she will be presenting an Activate commission for Inside Out Dorset Festival at Hengistbury Head, titled ‘Hides.’ Following this, she will be developing a new solo show, working title, ‘Moth.’
Flick is a regular tutor at Rose Bruford & frequently mentors for emerging artists. She is also on the board for the Total Theatre Awards at Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
