Virginia Farman
Bicycle Ballet Choreographer
Virginia Farman has been working is a choreographer with over 15 years experience of directing live and recorded performance work, formerly a performer for Liz Aggiss and Billy Cowie's company Divas, she also works as a senior lecturer at the University of Chichester and has travelled internationally as a student and creator of dance productions for stage, site specific setting and film.
She has worked extensively with professional and community performers of all abilities,and ages and is passionate about extending access to participation in high quality art practice among the community.
Farman has been given awards for both her research into contemporary Butoh dance and her short films, and is currently working on a series of flick books with photographer Charlotte Macpherson.

Oliver Aylmer
Bicycle Ballet Sound and Music
Oliver Aylmer has been working in the music industry for 11 years. He started working in a record shop and DJ ing in clubs and parties in the 90's, Oliver has his own band (Downtempojazzbreaks) under the guise of "Mistermute". He writes music for "Lift" Library music company and has recently toured with the "Go Team" for their UK Tour. He also works extensively in the performing arts writing and producing soundtracks for public performance and exhibitions.
Involvement in recent shows include. "Soundspace" at Eureka in Halifax. - interactive permanent exhibition of sound - receiving best European exhibition for kids 2005. "Chesick House" for The World Famous - Large scale pyro to sound public performance in the grounds of Cheswick House. "The Barbershop" for 3Monkey Productions. Touring comedy stage show. "Crackers" for The World Famous. Large scale touring pyro to sound show. "The Big Dance" for South East Arts. Large scale dance performance to sound, on Brighton beach. Warren Haigh
Bicycle Ballet Costume Designer
Since graduating in 1995 Warren has constructed the weird and the strange, from giant inflatable spiders and caterpillars to nine foot drumming ants and remote controlled lady birds. Multi-sensory rooms for special needs; to spending two weeks making tents for the earthquake disaster in Afghanistan for the homeless. Most costumes have been for large outdoor festival performances with pyrotechnic displays.
Warren has also manufactured clothing for contemporary dance companies, theatre and small independent films as well as working for celebratory arts companies such as Artscope and Same Sky creating sculptures and installations with communities and schools.

Karen Poley
Bicycle Ballet Creative Producer
Karen has 10 years experience of producing outdoor work at Zap Art & Zap Productions, including producing over 100 street arts and outdoor events, managing a range of commissions and producing large scale & participatory performances such as Lights Players by Groupe F, The Lazy Kings by Transe Express, Crackers? by The World Famous & Souterrain by Wild Works. Bicycle Ballet is her first opportunity to develop her own creative ideas and work more on the artistic side. Its a long, steep and exciting learning curve.
